If you're reading my blog posts, you should probably know a little more about me. Like this:
Some call me Anna Banana. Some call me Cheeky. Certain little ones call me Aunt Bananas.
I'm 31 and live in Portland, OR. I grew up in SC and went to college at Asbury College (now University) in KY. What can I say? I enjoy new places.
2 countries have claimed my address outside of 'Merica. I spent a few months in Northern Ireland. A couple years in Paris. Now I'm ready for 11 more countries to claim my address.
Despite my distaste for coffee, I sling the stuff at Starbucks. Chai is my weakness. I may be drinking it as I type.
I have more books than I currently know what to do with. Half of them are waiting for me to read them and yet I always have at least a half dozen checked out from the library.
In keeping with my moniker, I enjoy baking – especially banana bread. I even went so far as to take a cake decorating class.
Most importantly, though, I love Jesus. I felt called to missions at the age of 16. A couple months ago, I found out about this amazing thing called The World Race. And now I'm really excited to be able to love on people in His name.
