I love Thai food. I never knew how much.

My team was blessed to be hosted by a wonderful family about an hour outside of Kanchanaburi, Thailand. We ate delicious food, helped out on a farm, and taught some English. Teaching English coincidentally included teaching swimming. I never knew teaching people how to swim would be fun. It is! Also fun: planting banana trees!

While with the family my team had the opportunity to participate in a few church services. In two of them I had the chance to teach (same day, different churches, same teaching). Also, I got to baptize someone! There was a couple who had become believers a couple of months ago. They waited to be baptized until a team was present. Our last Sunday was baptism day! Pang spoke the words and Edwin and I dunked the couple while they held hands. It was sweet and I feel privileged to be a part of their story.

I haven’t posted many pictures lately, so here’s a few to tell a few thousand words.

Iced Thai tea is my favorite drink in Thailand. It almost makes up for not having chai.
