A few years ago, after the big earthquake in Haiti, my church started sending teams there once a month to help build homes for the displaced and love on the people. I felt a tug on my heart to go, but I was in seminary and struggling to pay bills. I let fear hold me back. I didn’t think I would be able to raise the $1,600 cost for the trip.

Oh, the irony.

Last year when I read about the World Race and how much it cost, $16,000, I stepped out through the fear and trusted that God would provide the money, because I sure didn’t have it. While it was hard to trust God to provide $1,600 years ago, it was easy to trust Him to provide 10 times that much this past year. I didn’t know how He would do it, but I knew that He would.

Well, guess what?

I’M FULLY FUNDED!!! 😀

Thanks to you, my supporters, I have raised the amount that I need to continue the Race! Wahoo! I cannot say thank you enough! It means a lot that you would come alongside me in this adventure and help me spread the love of God to the people I meet.

If you would like to continue your support, any funds I receive above the $16,000 will go to future ventures with Adventures in Missions. The first thing to happen when I return stateside is called Project Searchlight. My squad will gather about a month after our return to debrief our Race, encourage each other as we readjust to the States, and talk about future opportunities with AIM. I then hope to continue full-time in some capacity with AIM. I’ll keep you updated as I figure out what that next step is.

In the meantime I appreciate your prayers as we continue the next 5 months of the Race. Prayers for renewed energy, good health, excitement, clear direction, safe travels, and overflowing love for the people we meet.

Also, if you would like to help other members of my team and squad by donating to their fund, let me know and I can tell you who is still in need.

Again, thank you so much for your donations and support!!
