It’s here!!
The day that I have been waiting for for months has finally arrived. My squad is flying to Guatemala in about 7 hours. We’re making the last preparations before leaving the hotel and shuttling over to the airport. We all fly into Guatemala City. My team and 2 others will then continue on to Puerto Barrios on the eastern coast. We’ll be working with Shofar Ministries, doing anything from painting to working with orphans. I’ll find out more once we get there.

The chorus has become my prayer for where God will take me and for how He will grow me this year.

In the presence of my Savior
I want to be taken outside of the box this year. I want to be willing to go wherever God will lead me without trepidation. For this to happen, I have to be a better listener. I have to be open to letting God work in me, to do with me what He needs so that He can do through me what He wants.
