I am in Seattle!
After what looked to be a bleak chance of actually flying out of Atlanta, an almost flight diversion to Spokane, and then driving a rental car in four inches of snow. I safely arrived at my hotel. From all the snow that I have seen (more this week than the rest of my life combined), I have learned at least one thing: all rules are off when driving in snow. Drivers stop whenever they can, regardless of sign locations. Lanes are irrelevant, you drive where you can, probably in the tracks of the car driving in front of you. You cannot drive too slow.
In the midst of this advanced drivers' education, I could not help but ask myself "what have I gotten into?"
To be perfectly honest, I don't know. I probably won't know for awhile. But I am excited to be on this journey. So stayed tuned!
