This week has been absolutely incredible. We worked as a team on filling in a road and on leveling out land on the side of the hill for the huts. We worked so well together as a team without complaint in the heat and humidity, singing Disney songs. We were blessed to attend a wedding this week, something that God uses to unite two people can unite people from all over the world. It is always so incredible to see two people devote their lives to each and to God. We danced and sang and danced some more. Despite the heat, we all looked beautiful and it was nice to be able to put on a dress. Last night we lead the prayer meeting in worship and taught them a new song. “Our God” By Chris Tomlin. To hear our voices merge with theirs was such an incredible experience. God used that moment to remind me to look at each of these people as if they were Him. Each one of us is fearfully and wonderfully made and are His children. I looked around the room and felt as if I was among family. As we finished up the night I was sad to see them all go, I can’t wait to see them again on Sunday. I have learned so much from being here, I just hope that God uses me to impart some of His love in return. We’re almost half way through our time here, and I want so badly to stay longer. I will do my best to make the most out of the next two weeks. Please pray that I follow God’s will to where ever it may lead without fear or hesitation. Thank you so much for reading!
