A few Tid-Bits About Me! : )

Hi everyone! 

I apologize for taking so long to introduce myself.  I had a really hard time gathering my thoughts and trying to figure out just what I wanted to say in this blog.  I thought it would be best if I just listed a few tid-bits about myself to get started and got deeper in later blogs.

Who am I? That’s not an easy question for me because honestly I’m not so sure of the answer. But here I go!  

Facts:

My name is Anmari Rivera Molina. (Yes I use both last names, it’s a Spanish thing! : )

I am 23 years old. (and will be 24 by the time we leave in June.)

I’m Puerto Rican and proud to be.  I was actually born there.   (Yo hablo español! J)

I’m American and proud to be.

I’m a resident of West Palm Beach, FL.  (Don’t know if I’m proud of that! Lol)

I have been a member of Vision Church International (aka VCI) for as long as I can remember. (Go City of God Youth Group!!! Whoop Whoop! Lol)

I’ve taken part in almost every single ministry throughout the years including miming! You name it, I’ve done it! The only thing I haven’t done is sing, and that’s because I choose not to subject others to that kind of torture! Lol  This is proof of my short lived career as a mimie! lol

I’m Single. (but sadly not ready to mingle!)

I’m a constant day dreamer, which isn’t always a good thing because sometimes I use it as a means of escape.

I say that I’m pretty adventurous. I love all kinds of exhilarating outdoorsy activities and I always pretend to know what I’m doing even if I’ve never done it before! (Like the time I told the horseback riding lady that I was experienced, when I had only been on a trail horse once before, and she put me on a  crazy horse that goes up to 40 miles an hour! Good times!)Thats me pretending to be be a pro rider!

 

I’m a lover of all kinds of music!  Classical, R&B, reggae, latin, rock, alternative, folklore, you name it! I just can’t stand anything too hard core, especially hard core rock or rap. I love hard core worship though!!

I’m really curious about other cultures and the way people do things and why. (I’m considering becoming an anthropologist!)

I am both a lover and a fighter! 

I am severely misunderstood!

I’m a huge viber. Apparently I made that word up! But what I basically mean is that I sense others feelings and emotions and my behavior is affected by them. I vibe off other people.  Not always a good thing!

I’m a very devoted friend.  Friendships mean the world to me. I have many acquaintances, but I can count the people I call my true friends on one hand.  I love to be a witness to peoples lives. If you’re my friend, you’re my family.       My best friends/sisters.  They really are my favorite people! Love you guys! : )  

I can be overly cautious at times and have a hard time making big decisions. (I second guess myself a lot, but not this time! I’m sure that the World Race is from God and the right decision for my life right now.)

I’m honest even when it hurts. (Sometimes brutally honest with myself, but honest in a nice way to others, so don’t worry.)

I’m someone who wears her heart on her sleeve. (I usually can’t hide how I feel.)

I’m complicated mess, but a complicated mess in the hands of God! (I think that’s the best place to be!)

I can be very emotional at times, but getting better at dealing with them.

I’m someone who isn’t pleased with who she is at the moment and who doesn’t want to stay the way she is.

I’m in search for something more.

I’m someone in search of herself and in search of God.

I’m someone who loves God very much, but hasn’t fallen completely and totally in Love with Him and desperately longs to do so!

I’m someone who hopes to return from the World Race a completely transformed person.  

I want to learn how to love others the way Jesus did. (Selflessly!)

I’m someone who can’t seem to get it right, but won’t ever stop trying!

I’m someone in need of a life altering change.

I’m someone who prays to God that He will strip me of myself and take me to a place where my flesh is screaming, but my Spirit is more alive and awake than ever!

I’m someone who wants to be known as a woman after God’s own heart!

I’m a child of God who needs to grow up so I can receive His inheritance.

I am a person in need of intense brokenness! I hope to be shaken, stirred, and stripped away from my comfort zone during the race!  (I can’t wait!)

And to end, the most serious fact of all: I have midget thumbs like Megan Fox! (Yes I will show you when we meet, and no they are not the reason why I’m single! Lol J)

Well, I think that should be way more than enough for know. I think I got a little carried away! Anyways, I hope this gives you some incite into who I am at the moment . If there’s anything else you would like to know about me please feel free to ask. I really look forward to meeting all of you soon!
