part 4/4
in his book Letters to the Church, Francis Chan writes, “we have experienced the greatest love in the universe. shouldn’t that profound love flow out of us?”
that was my challenge to my squad (and myself!) as i shared all of this with them last Sunday. my team volunteered to lead church, and i knew that i had to share this with anyone who would listen.
along with the word, we really wanted to focus on living this out. so we took communion as a body, and then had a time set aside to fellowship with each other, just sitting in our backyard playing card games and talking. it was such a sweet time and i love how our squad loves each other, building each other up and encouraging one another every day.

we gave each person a random piece of paper with a Bible verse and a number that corresponded with a blanket to sit at. we put a list of discussion questions about the message, fun conversation starters, and a couple games at each one for the groups to talk about and play together.

*disclaimer : we wear masks and social distance when we leave the base, which is either to go to ministry or to get wifi on the weekends. our squad all lives together in one house, and we have daily temperature checks and health screenings each morning.*
