I don’t know about you but I’m feeling 22… Today

Today is my 22^nd Birthday.

                             

Today I am on the World Race at the end of month 5 in Thailand.

                                           

Today I have tears in my eyes reading all the birthday letters that my family and friends sent me with 4 months ago as we waved good bye to each other with tear filled eyes.

                                  

Today I am filled with so much gratitude to be on “M” squad, to know that I am loved by some of the greatest people I have ever met.

               

Today I think about my family and how I wish I was there to hug them and assure them how much I love them.  To tell them how much I brag about them.

                                 

Today I wish my nieces would have been with me at the Zoo to chuckle and laugh at Gods creativity of the animals there.

                                          

Today I think about where I was last year at this time living in apartment D 3 on Montana Street with my dear friend Emma dreaming of the adventures to come. Know that I love you and miss you so deeply.

                                      

Today I remember my dear and wonderful friends that are in Bozeman Montana, Denver Colorado, Twin Falls Idaho, and spread across the rest of the country. I think about them and how blessed I am to have had them in my life for the time that they were. I can truly say that I would not be me if you had not been in my life.

                                  

Today I think about what craziness the last 12 months of my life has been and how God has turned my life upside down over and over again; and I love it. From Apartment, to shack, to homeless shelter, to backpacks and tent.

                                            

Today I embrace the adventure that I am on, but mourn the loss of what I left behind.

                                                    
Today I think about the last 22 Birthdays that have past and how truly I can say each year of my life has gotten richer, has gained a depth that the year before did not hold, has held pains and blessing that have brought me to the beautiful place that I find myself at. Today.

                                        

Today I Thank God for my 22 years and tell Him how I can’t wait to see what the future holds.

Just laugh
Just cry
Just know Truth and just know Grace
Just know peace
Just choose Joy
Just lead a life of adventure
Just Be here now…
