Just like last month, this blog is dedicated to giving you more information about my fundraising process and progress for the month of December.
To begin, the total raised so far is $576 has been credited toward my account, as well as another $70 that has yet to appear yet, so a total of $646 (about 3.5%). Which is amazing, but there is something you should know about that percentage: I recently checked my fundraising page via Adventures in Missions and my total number has changed (from $18,100 to $18,600), so the percentage is either 3.56% or 3.47%, respectively.
Next, I have several people support me through a variety of means, from fundraising dinners to giving directly to my account. However, this is not every means that people have supported me financially; two things that I would encourage people to support me was selling t-shirts and stickers. It turns out, these were neither the most cost-effective nor the profit-yielding. I do have a few more t-shirts (2S, 2M, and 1L) to sell and stickers (8) as well. If the remainder of both is sold, they would raise another $95.50 (bringing the total to $741.50, about 4%).
Some exciting news: Adopt-the-Box has officially started and I have a friend who has promised to support me financially on a monthly basis. As you may have seen from my previous blog post, Adopt-the-Box has the potential to raise $11,325 (bringing my total to $12,066.50, about 65%). If Adopt-the-Box is completed by the end of July, we will have met my first TWO funding goals (allowing me to go to training camp in June, as well as keeping me on the pace set by AiM). Back to monthly supporters, monthly supporters are probably the people that make the greatest change consistently. Whether $5 or $50 given a month, it ends up being a great sum of money consistently driving me toward those funding goals. Ideally, if the t-shirts, stickers, and Adopt-the-Box are completed, then we will have to raise about $30 a week. If not, then we have to raise about $85 a week.
Finally, please consider supporting me with a one-time or a monthly gift. If you are considering a one-time gift, check out the Adopt-the-Box page and adopt a box! If you are considering a monthly gift of $50 a month, or any amount that you can give. Anything and everything is greatly appreciated!
Sincerely,
Angie Moore
