Just like January’s update, this blog is dedicated to giving you more information about my fundraising process and progress for the month of February.
To begin, the total raised so far is $2,186 (about 12.1%). As you may know, I was asking and praying to reach $2,500 by February 15. While we did not reach that goal amount, I am very grateful and blessed to supported by all of you who are supporting me in this endeavor, financially and/or prayerfully.
Next, I do have a few more t-shirts (2S, 2M, and 1L) to sell and stickers (6) as well. If you’d like to order a t-shirt or sticker, just let me know! T-shirts are $20, and stickers are $3.
Some exciting news: Adopt-the-Box has officially started and I have a friend who has promised to support me financially on a monthly basis. As you may have seen from my previous blog post, Adopt-the-Box has the potential to raise $11,325 (bringing my total to $12,638, about 70%). If Adopt-the-Box is completed by the end of July, we will have met my first TWO funding goals (allowing me to go to training camp in June, as well as keeping me on the pace set by AiM). Back to monthly supporters, monthly supporters are probably the people that make the greatest change consistently. Whether $1, $15 or $100 given per month, it ends up being a great sum of money consistently driving me toward those funding goals. Ideally, if the t-shirts, stickers, and Adopt-the-Box are completed, then we will have to raise about $30 a week. If not, then we have to raise about $85 a week. If you would like to adopt a box, support me monthly, or would like more info, just let me know! Over the course of the next few months, I will be organizing a few different fundraisers. The biggest fundraiser to consider is my partnership with Applebee’s called Flapjack Fundraiser, on Saturday, June 16, 2018, from 8-10AM.
Finally, PLEASE CONSIDER SUPPORTING ME with a one-time or a monthly gift. If you are considering a one-time gift, check out the Adopt-the-Box page and adopt a box! If you are considering giving a monthly gift, please find a number that works for you on a monthly basis. If you’d like to give $500, you can spread it out over the course of the next 10 months.
