For those of you who have decided to join me (and others) in praying for the nations, here is November’s update! This month we will be praying for the Haiti, the first country that I will be traveling to during my World Race. I will be in Haiti during most, if not all, of the month of August.

Here is some information about Haiti, provided from Operation World:

  • it is on the western third of the island of Hispaniola (shared with the Dominican Republic)
  • the capital and largest city in Haiti,
  • its HDI Rank is 149 of 182,
  • there are nine different people groups, of which 11% are unreached;
  • the largest unreached people group are the Jewish French of Haiti,
  • 95.12% identify as Christian and, of that, 16% identify as Evangelical
  • the country still suffers from centuries of poor national rulers, resulting in corruption, robberies, kidnappings, attempts to flee the country, and drug usage.

If you need a reminder of praying schedule, you can check out the introductory blog! Or, if you would like to be one of my prayer warriors (intentionally praying over and with me and others about my World Race), you can sign up here (an email list serve to get more information, specifically prayer requests and prayer reports).

God bless,

Angie Moore
