Today, I wanted to go home.  I wanted to pack my suitcase backpack, leaving most of my stuff behind so I don’t have to carry it, go to Nairobi, get on a plane and go home.  I honestly have not felt this way the whole World Race.  There have been days I miss home, but not enough to actually contemplate quitting.  I’m not a quitter or am I?  Maybe today I will be.  But as I headed to the outside restroom that would compare to an outhouse in America, minus any type of toilet seat, I came to the small room with a hole in the ground and a concrete type toilet, began to enter in and then found I was not the only one in there.  There was a chicken pecking around in there.  I shooed the chicken out, chuckled, and thought this would have never happened if I didn’t come on the World Race.  Then, as it stormed this afternoon and we didn’t have electricity, didn’t go to our ministry because of the rain, and most of my teammates slept, I decided to write a list of things that would have probably never happened had I not spent the last eight and a half months traveling on the World Race.   As you read my list, they may not all be considered “good” things, but I am all about experience being the greatest teacher so although some may be considered “bad”, they have all taught me something.   In honor of me turning 32 in a couple of weeks, I have come up with 32 things. Enjoy! (PS,,.I really wanted to put pictures with this, but it's very difficult to upload those in Africa.) If you want to see complete with picture go here: http://angie-peace-of-mind.blogspot.com/
