In the midst of the wild days of 2020, the Lord has been moving powerfully and beautifully through my life, and the ministries He has placed me into since returning from the international mission field earlier this year! One of those has now become my full time job at Out of Darkness through the Atlanta Dream Center! Remember my last email when I was contending, praying, & asking you to pray towards my full time position at the safe house for women rescued out of human trafficking/sexual exploitation? The Lord BOLDLY confirmed that calling, and I’ve officially been employed in full time ministry there for nearly two months! Praise God! My role is literally pouring into these women with identity, joy, love, and encouragement during some of the most life-changing days of their lives! So thank you for your prayers, and glory to God! He’s placed me right where I belong! I am watching freedom ring out daily inside the walls of that home!
The purpose of this email though, is to share with you about the other ministry I have been a part of, and the other ministry that you have made contributions towards! That’s right! When I last contacted you, I was in the process of praying and hearing from the Lord regarding my remaining funds from the Race, and where He intended me to steward those! You all so graciously responded and asked for me to send your donations where ever the Lord led. A fifth went towards the house church that I am a part of that has changed and marked my life (Praise Jesus!), but the majority went towards blessing what God is doing at The Ex-Nihilo Collective! We are a collective that cultivate a creative rhythm to the way the world views God by illuminating Jesus through words, poetry, and storytelling! I have been a spoken word artist on the team for the last two years since our non-profit ministry was established, but upon returning from the mission field, I stepped back onto the team as a part of our core leadership team! I now co-lead the artists I previously wrote alongside!
