The last 5 months on my race my squad was in Guatemala and Ecuador, two predominantly Spanish speaking countries.

I spent a lot of time translating from Spanish to English and vise versa for my team and my squad. It’s the first time I ever really had to translate and what a privilege it was to be able to bridge the gap and bring understanding to allow people from different languages to connect.

This got me thinking…

We speak a heavenly language because we have the Holy Spirit. And the language of the kingdom is like none other because it is wrapped in grace, sprinkled with love, and topped with mercy.

Each of us, followers of Christ, speak this beautiful language. When we speak it brings freedom, and unleashes the Holy Spirit.

We are translators for people riddled with fear that do not speak this heavenly language.

We are one people, mankind, we were meant to speak the same language, not Spanish or English or Chinese or Romanian or any other of the million languages. As one people, united under Christ we are meant to speak the heavenly language, and to be translators and teachers of this beautiful language across the globe.

Now the Lord has brought us here, he has brought us home, to give the language of peace to a people walking in fear.

People in the United States speak English and need Jesus!

GOOD NEWS: we have the Holy Spirit! We speak a heavenly language with him that was meant to be taught to everyone, so they can speak truth, so they can pray healing, so they can declare victory.

There are a lot of voices today.. let’s give people a language that allows them to use their voice to sound the trumpets of freedom, declare the fruit of peace, and to live out complete trust in the Lord with absolute truth.

And if you don’t speak this language, or don’t have this Holy Spirit guy.. no worries he’s waiting to welcome you home. Just call out to him and he will do the rest.
