This week one of my squad mates Morgan challenged us to write a blog post about another one of our squad mates. We all got assigned a random person and I got Daniel.

Dan is a senior this year graduating from high school in Michigan. At first I didn’t think there was much to do in Michigan because its always cold, and who wants to do anything in the cold!? But Dan loves to ski and I guess when it warms up in Michigan he like to play rugby and kayak. He is in the process of training to be a professional outdoors man as I like to call it and I hope he does well because that’s super cool!

One thing Dan looks forward to going into the race next year is the community that we are always going to be surrounded with. Making new friends, and building new relationships that will last a lifetime. And one thing Dan is definitely going to need on our race is SPF 1000 because his light skin may not last the Ecuadorian sun, but he assured me he’s got it covered.

Dan doesn’t talk much in the group chat because he is on the quieter side, but I’m grateful for this challenge because Dan is super cool and has a low key sense of humor and I cant wait to meet him and all my other squad mates. Follow his blog and his journey as we go onto the race!
