My name is Angelica, but most people call me Gel. Some random but cool facts about me includes: my favorite color is orange, I love coffee, I watch the Hallmark channel, and my favorite place is the beach. I grew up in Hammonton, New Jersey with my parents, Denise and Ricky and my younger sister Natalie. Growing up I played soccer, sang in church, participated in theater, and was actively involved in school. I am still a Senior finishing out my time in high school, and I am so ready for my next step.
I decided that I wanted to join The World Race because I feel as though I have been called to the mission field. Romans 10:14-15 being my new moto for the next year says, ” But how can they call on him to save them unless they believe in him? And how can they believe in him if they haven’t heard about him? And how can they hear about him unless someone tells them? And how will anyone go and tell them without being sent? That is why the Scriptures say, “How beautiful are the feet of messengers who bring good news!”.
I can’t say everyone on our team is going to have beautiful feet, but speaking for myself I know I am so excited and expectant for God to show up and show off for us in Romania, Costa Rica, and Ecuador.
