Adopting a country means that you’ll be the proud parent of a mason jar dedicated to a specific country. More than that though, I ask that you pray for the country and the work that God is doing there. I’ll place some prayer requests in there to help you pray specifically for that country. During the month of July, fill the jar with any money or spare change you’d like to donate. Feel free to add notes and prayers in the jar as well. I’ll open them in that country!
As you pray for the country and fill the jar with change, share with your friends and family how God is using YOU to make a difference in the lives of people around the world.
The initial cost to adopt a country is $20 (add a couple of extra dollars if I’ll need to ship it to you). You can donate that through my blog here by pressing the orange donate button, then let me know what country you’d like to adopt. At the end of July, I’ll collect the jars and the person who has raised the most money for their adopted country will receive a souvenir from that country!
I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again, “Every little bit matters!” Most people– including me– are intimidated by the task of raising $17,000. Even more people are intimidated by the state of our world today. Some may feel like a small amount or a couple of prayers don’t really make much of a difference. I’m here to tell you that it DOES. Every penny and every prayer makes a difference. God will use anything and everything to accomplish His purposes. I’m continuing to pray that He uses me and YOU to bring more of His Kingdom to Earth!
