Dear Friends and Family,

I hope this letter finds you well.  I am thankful for this opportunity to share what's been going on in my life lately.  As most of you know missions is a huge part of my life. From the first trip to Japan, to New Orleans, Kentucky, and most recently Haiti God has stirred up a passion in my heart for reaching the lost and sharing my faith with them. While I was in Haiti God broke my heart, to see human beings living the way they were was devastating. What was even more devastating to me was that they could find Joy in such a seemingly desperate situation. The laughs and the smiles are forever with me. It is my goal to continue fanning this flame in my heart.

Through Adventures in Missions, the same organization I went to Haiti with, I have the opportunity to continue the call God has put on my life. I can think of no better way to spend my life than by going out into the world and proclaiming His love to the nations! My desire is to be molded and changed more into the likeness of Christ. I want to see the world through His eyes and have my heart broken for the poor, the orphaned, the destitute and the forgotten people of this world, and I desire to share the Hope of Jesus Christ with them. I desire to love the “unlovely” and reach out to the rejected. I want to live life being the hands and feet of Jesus.  Overall, I want to see the world and the people in it through the eyes of Christ and continue sharing the Gospel with them.

35For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me… 40 I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me.'
Matthew 25:35-36 & 40

To fulfill this call I need your help. I would be honored and humbled if you would partner with me in this ministry. First, I ask you to prayerfully consider making a 17 month commitment to pray for me every day until I return. The World Race is a trip to 11 different countries over 11 months, spending 1 month in each country. I will be exposed to a lot, and will be put through a lot.  It is very important to me to have a group of prayer warriors standing beside me as I go through this adventure.

Second, I need to raise a minimum of $14,800 for the trip that goes directly to AIM. This will cover the majority of my expenses while on the field. I cannot do this on my own but I trust that if the Lord wants me to go, He will provide the resources needed. In the Bible, the number 40 held great significance. It rained for 40 days and 40 nights when God wanted to cleanse the world and start again. Moses was on the mountain with God for 40 days (twice). The Israelites spent 40 years in the wilderness. If only 40 people committed 40 dollars a month for 9 months I will have enough money to launch for the race! Although I know not everyone is able to make this commitment. ANY pledge will help tremendously!! On this blog all you need to do click on the Support link to donate!  Also, You can write a check payable to:

Adventures In Missions

I ask for all one time donations to be sent in before April 15th and that if you send a check please don't write my name on the check. Please write in on a post-it note or note attached to the letter!
