I was reading my Bible a few weeks ago and I landed on the very familiar following passage:
Do Not Worry
25"Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more important than food, and the body more important than clothes? 26Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? 27Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life? 28"And why do you worry about clothes? See how the lilies of the field grow. They do not labor or spin. 29Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these. 30If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you,
And then the next verse hit me hard.
O you of little faith. 31So do not worry, saying, 'What shall we eat?' or 'What shall we drink?' or 'What shall we wear?' 32For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them.
But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. 34Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.
God made it crystal clear to me that if I am choosing to seek HIM first that HE will meet all my needs. So trust him and do not worry about him providing. I read this during a time when the concerns and fears of my upcoming trip were starting to choke me. The confirmation that He is here with me and that he will provide, according to His will was astonishing. God used this appointment with him to reveal why I had felt called to use “Seeking first HIS kingdom” as the scripture and theme for our trip on the WORLD RACE.

Prayer Requests—
As I try really hard not to worry about the financial… and trust in Jehovah Jireh my controling self wants to have everything figured out. Pray for Peace, I will not worry about stuff I already know God is promising to take care of. However, if you want to help financially… I still need my shots, insurance, and a flight ticket to our launch site and home.
My support account sits at about $4,000ish —with the pledges I have recieved so far. There is still a huge need for people to find it in their hearts to give!
I pray for God to continue to use me as a witness to the people I am around.. I pray for God to use me to plant seeds.There is family at work I have had the opportunity to witness to and hear how she was hurt by the church. It sickens me that the church has became a place of judgement and legalities instead of the love that Jesus Christ shows us. I pray that as I have the opportunity to take the children to church that the parents heart will be soften to the church.
Pray for me and all my preparations!! Its totally overwhelming..but God's got it! Pray for God to prepare my heart and me spiritual for what I will be encountering.
Pray for my team.. and the people that I will be spending the year with!
