I am beautiful. Song of Songs 1:15 “How beautiful you are my darling.
I am loved. Jeremiah 31:3 “I have loved you with an
everlasting love.
I am
chosen. Isaiah
42:1 “Here is my servant, whom I uphold, my chosen one in whom I delight; I
will put my spirit on *her* and *she* will bring justice to the nations.
I am more than a conqueror. Romans 8:37 “No
in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us first.
The Holy Spirit dwells in our hearts to help
us in our weakness and to intercede for us when we do not have the words to
express. (Romans 8:26-27) It helps us to understand what God has freely given
us. (1 Corinthians 2:12) In 1 Corinthians 12:4-6 it says “There are different kinds of gifts, but
the same Spirit. There are different kinds of service, but the same Lord. There
are different kinds of working, but the same God works all of them in all men.
If we have the Spirit then we have access to all the gifts of the Spirit. It’s
like a toolbox. We do different kinds of service and different kinds of work
for the good of the Lord and those different works and service they require
different gifts. It does not say it requires different kinds of people who
posses that specific gift that is required to finish the work or service of the
Lord. Yes, some of our gifts are stronger than the others, but just as we must
exercise our bodies to gain strength we must exercise daily the spiritual to
come to understand the gifts and how to use them. A football player does not exercise
one part of the body, but instead he strengthens his whole body because he
never knows what he might need during the game. One game may call him to tackle
more and the next maybe to run more. He must be fully prepared for the game and
whatever the opposing team throws at him. It’s the same in the spiritual world.
Sometimes we all stand united and we can pull on each other’s strengths, but
sometimes the devil goes after just one. That person must be ready.
1 John 2:27 tells us, “As for you, the
anointing you received from him remains in you, and you do not need anyone to
teach you. But as his anointing teaches you about all things and as that
anointing is real, not counterfeit — just as it has taught you, remain in him.We
must always remain in Christ so that we can continue to learn and grow in the
knowledge. So that is what I am doing. I am relying on God to teach me. I trust
that the Holy Spirit will intercede for me and help me to understand what God
has freely given us. I know that through the authority God has given us I can
do all things. I fully expect and eagerly anticipate to heal the sick, raise
the dead (both physically and spiritually), and cast out demons. However, I
know that this will only lead to more attacks spiritually and physically by the
devil and I rebuke them. I will “be strong in the Lord and his mighty power.(Ephesians
6:10) I will “put
on the full armor of God to take a stand against the devil’s schemes.(Ephesians
6:11) “Endure
hardship with us like a good soldier of Christ (2 Timothy 2:3) This
is not a losing battle. How do I know? I know because God my father calls me
beautiful, he loves me with and everlasting love, he has chosen me to help
bring justice to the nations, and I know that I am more than a conqueror through
him. So here I stand ready.
