Well this is long overdue since I have been with my new team this whole month here in the Philippines, but better late than never.
I would like to introduce you to Team Refresh.
Mac Mitchell
Team leader. I was with him on Team lovebound and have begun to view him as a big brother. Mac challenges you and makes you dig deep. His heart is always on his sleeve.
Alana Lusted.
I was also on Team lovebound with her. She has such a BIG heart for ministry and worship. She has taught me a lot of things from how to handle the constant change of the world race to wanting to have a deeper relationship with God.
Angie Blattner.
I am excited to still be on the same team with her. I connected with her before training camp and love her love for people. She can always make me laugh and she has always been there for me through my ups and downs.
Haile Hendricks.
This girl is awesome trust me I would know after three months of living side by side with her. If you want some prayer hit her up. She may love her quiet time, but she definitely knows how to bring life everywhere she goes.
Nikki Medders
She came to us from Team B.R.A.D.Y. I love her. She is so in-tune to the Lord always asking for and seeking out his will. She has some AWESOME spiritual gifts and a BIG heart for kids.
Phil Khamoua
He came to us from Team Arrow. I have bonded quickly with him and have given him the title of my adopted big Asian brother. He has fought to help all the women on our squad see who they truly are. He is such a gentleman and loves to play with the kids just as much as he loves to look good. 😀
Choosing our new name was difficult, but now it has begun to define who we are. Refresh means to restore strength and animation to or to restore or maintain by renewing supply. Proverbs 11:25 has become our theme verse. It says “A generous person will prosper; whoever refreshes others will be refreshed.” The Lord calls us to refresh others and by doing so we ourselves will be refreshed. Keep pouring out and you will keep being poured into. Some other great verses that have spoken a lot to us are Romans 15:32, “ So that I may come to you with joy, by God’s will, and in your company be refreshed.”, and Psalm 23:3, “He refreshes my soul. He guides me along the right paths for his name’s sake.”
