So I wanted to let you know that I made it safe and sound to Antigua, Guatemala. After 1 asthma attack, 6 flights, an hour van ride, and a couple flights of stairs I can tell you that I am in Antigua. I wish I had time to write how everything played out, but things have been busy busy busy here already debriefing and reuniting with our teams,which we have a new addition to team lovebound! WELCOME Angie (Angela) Blattner!! We have worship in a few minutes and we start a 2 day “screen’ fast after that so no ipods, phones, or computers!
The weather isn’t too bad it varies from hot to chilly in minutes, but the city is beautiful, however, the streets could use some help. They probably are not the safest thing to walk on when you are known for being clumsy and then by adding being tired to the mix, not a good combo. (I’ve only stumbled so far, no injuries yet.)
Ok well off to shower because this girl may or may not be slightly smelly. haha. I love you all and I’ll blog ASAP!
