Today I was in a
meeting at work here at Adventures. Every Tuesday we sit down as a
staff and meet, some days in about rules of engagement other days its
about upcoming summer things but at the end of every meeting we close
with prayer. This is a time where we pray for one another and our
families and friends. It amazes me what the power of prayer will do.
Recently I have
been having a lot of trouble with my hip, its been unaligned for some
time now causing me a lot of pain. I have been going to the
chiropractor once or twice a week for over a month now. I have been
unable to do some of the things I love because of the pain. Today I
asked for my department to join with me in prayer for healing of this
hip. I know God is living and active, He is moving and has the power
to heal… we just have to ask. So we did! Two of my amazing sisters
came around me and laid hands on my hip and started to pray as they
prayed the area got really warm. I could feel it and so could they.
Nothing like that has ever happened to me before. The sharpness of
the pain started to go away!! Healing was taking place! It is still a
little sore now but I truly believe God is doing healing in this hip.
I just love
seeing how God works. I know often times I feel like I would be
inconveniencing God if I asked Him to heal me. But I really think
that He has called me to GO into the world so that He can move
through me to reach the nations. If He has called me to do all this I
am pretty sure that He will give me the ability to do these things,
including having a fully working body with no pain. So today I
received that fact that God wants His children to come to Him with
all things… even healing for a hip.
Praise God for
all He does!!!
