Long time no update! As some of you may see, I am not in georgia right now like I told you I would be. Plans changed again. But yes, I am still going on the world race but I will be doing world race semesters!! I’ll be leaving January 4th to June for Nicaragua, Costa Rica, and Cambodia!!! I have a new squad and they’re so so great. I’m really excited.
Some of you might be wondering why I decided not to go to Georgia for the 3 months. I did a lot of praying and thinking. Whenever I mentioned leaving in September i started getting anxious (not the good kind of anxious) and really felt no peace about it. That alone made me start thinking about other options. Anxiety is not from the Lord. God is peaceful and comforting. One day my mom asked me about leaving in January which was weird because I didn’t tell her I was even thinking about it. I really value my parents’ opinions and I think that God really uses them to guide me and others. God uses people believe it or not!! That whole week I got a lot of signs and confirmation to leave in January. I felt so at peace with it. Although it was sad to have to tell my other squad that I will not be joining them, I think this was the best decision.
With that being said, my fundraising goal has been cut down! My end goal is $10,500 and, thanks to all my supporters, we’re almost there! I need about $2,500 more and then I’ll be fully funded! Heck ya!!! Thank you to everyone for supporting me. Financially and by prayer. This whole process has made me so thankful for everyone in my life. You all have overwhelmed me with your love and God is going to bless you!
