I have had multiple people ask me “why are you going on this mission?”, some don’t seem to understand why I would want go to all of these exotic places, or even be excited about this opportunity. I just had that feeling that God was calling me to do something great, really out of the box. I believe He has plans for everyone whether it’s leading in Communities or Churches or standing up for your Country. When I was called by God I didn’t like it, why me? It was like Moses telling Him, “choose someone else”. Then I finally realized God would not accept no for a answer. He expects me to push forward and lead from the front. So it was January 1st, 2013 when I decided to apply to World Race 11/11 and make the commitment to fully serve God and befriend others who are in need of shelters, to stop the red light districts, to construct orphanages and to provide that glimmer of hope that keeps people hanging on. Even if our team helps just one person who has the burn to learn, and comes to know Jesus Christ personally it will be worth the trip. To plant the seeds into others, speak the Word and see the everlasting ripple effect it has on people all over the world is a mission our whole team and I will remember for the rest of our lives.
