Do you ever wonder if what you say or do ever makes an Impact?!
I certaintly do. Through the conversations I have, or the prayers over people I've prayed or even just the actions I do. This past week I had confirmation by two seperate people saying that what I've said or prayed over them has left a lasting effect.
It's very encouraging when people tell you that you've made an Impact on them.
So here's a lil story of being Impacted.
"It was last October and it was our Youth conference. One of the speakers Christa Pitcairn who is a good friend of mine was giving prophetic words to four people and I was one of them. She called us out and said we are going to father a generation. Well after that she called everyone up who wanted the father's love. As they came up to the altar, the 4 people she prayed and prophesied over she said that we are going to pray over everyone that came up for the fathers love. So we do. We start praying and prophesying to everyone there. We finish praying (at least I thought) and the spirit there is so heavy with his love everyone ends up just sitting there soaking in his presence. As im sitting on the stairs of the altar I look over and I see two people that God points out to me that still haven't been prayed over and he tells me that I need to pray over them. So I go. I pray and prophesy over the people that God shows me, and after I pray with one of the persons God tells me to go to, I feel an immediate connection and just can feel their heart and the pain they had held in and endured. I pray and finish and that's that."
Now, to less than a week ago. I'm sitting at home writing updates to my supporters and the one's who have supported me so far with this trip. I write the person that I prayed for from last October, as they are a great supporter to me in this trip. Well they write me back and send me an attachment of a story, more of a "defining moment" in their life that I was apart of. So as I read the attachment I start tearing up because their testimony and their experiences as a child which made them become fatherless and learning on how to forgive, hits me in a way I've never experienced. The anointing that God has placed on my life, I have begun too see its fruition. I re-read the story a few times. I think to myself, God's timing is so impeccable.
With me being obedient to God and listening to him to go pray for this person, I got to reap the benefits of Impacting a person and having God use me to do it.
I am forever changed. I am forever encouraged.
