What is it worth?
Is following Jesus worth everything? My time, money, intentionality, sacrifice?
Matthew 13:44
“The Kingdom of Heaven is like a treasure that a man discovered hidden in a field. In his excitement, he hid it again and sold everything he owned to get enough money to buy the field.”
As I have been thinking and praying this week, the Lord led me to this passage and understanding the Kingdom of God.
The reality of a Kingdom means that there has to be a King and that King is Jesus! The crazy thing is that when we live in the Kingdom we live under the Lordship of the King. And when the Kingdom can be accessed on this earth, crazy things happen. When the King makes the rules, He has all the authority in the Kingdom.
When Jesus says that the “Kingdom of God is like a treasure hidden in a field” what does that mean?
As I was asking the Lord what it meant, this is what He revealed to me. First, we have to seek it to discover it. The Kingdom is hidden from physical sight, yet it is accessed by faith and believing. It also is worth selling everything to get! This man in his EXCITEMENT sold everything for it- so he could buy the field, so he could have the treasure. And the true treasure is Jesus because Jesus lives inside the Kingdom (Just as the treasure lived inside the field).
I believe I discovered a field with a treasure inside of it. My heart jumped for joy as my brain made the connection with the vision the Lord gave me of Egypt.
In Egypt, we will be working on a field. And on this field which consists of nothing will be turned to a soccer field when it is finished. And on that soccer field people will get to know and experience Jesus! The Kingdom is coming to this field and it is worth investing in because it has eternal value.
My heart is excited about what God is doing in this season and how HE is building something that could effect generations in Egypt.
Would you prayerfully consider investing into the Kingdom and into this field which has the treasure hidden inside of it? This is a vision the Lord has me to share with you. Jesus will be made known and shared throughout the world, and I’m believing He wants to make Himself known here in this field.

“Jesus you are worth everything. I want to live out the Kingdom in my daily life knowing you are in control. You and the King and I trust you. Help me to have faith, believing even when I can’t see, because you are the treasure that is worth it all.”
