I am so proud to announce after all the prayers and waiting that the Egypt proposal got APPROVED! We got the GREEN LIGHT to go spend the month of February serving in one of the poorest parts of the country!
Thank you so much for praying with me through this. My teammates are beyond excited for this opportunity and GOD continues to amaze me!
One of my teammates, Hakeem, originally signed up for the race with a huge heart for Egypt. His dad is from Egypt and his heart was to go back to his dad’s country and share the light of Jesus with them. When he heard the news about Egypt, he simply came up to me and gave me a hug for what felt like a minute. I could see the thankfulness in his eyes and feel the joy in his heart.
Unfortunately, since Egypt wasn’t planned on our route we have to raise the extra travel cost to go. As a team we saw this is a way to invest in the long-term impact of this city in Egypt and agreed to help raise funds for a soccer field we will be building. Unfortunately, we won’t get thee whole field done while we are there, but we will move it along in the process!
We created a short video to hear from our team and ask for your help in this process. Would you prayerfully consider giving a gift to launch us to Egypt and develop a ministry in the 10/40 window?
This would truly touch my heart if you’re willing to help us reach our financial goal of $11,500. This amount includes travel for a team to be sent, housing costs, food, and soccer field materials, and a flight to meet back up with our team. We are praying and trusting that the Lord as we see Him opening the doors of us to go.
Think of a dirt field in the middle of one of the poorest area in Africa.
Think of a small number of believers who are praying fervently for God to move.
Think of God orchestrating our team to come there.
Think of how this is dirt field could become a soccer field where generations meet to experience Jesus. Where kids grow up know Christ through soccer and because they know Jesus they end up discipling other children. This is the start of a movement throughout one of the poorest cities in Egypt. Our hearts are to go, yet we have to support raise to get there.
