It has been awhile since I have posted a blog. So much has happened and I admit I have been caught up in the world of busyness that most of face on a daily basis. Since I have returned I have been pursing, step by step, the vision God has given me.
This vision was filled with Youth Ministry, Business, and Family. In Youth ministry I have been building the Kingdom of God through discipling the young people of this generation. I’m striving to help them realize the importance of the Bible and daily obedience with Christ.
In the area of business, I started an ice shop called FOMO 10/40 Creamery to educate my community on the 10/40 window and help launch small businesses in the darkest areas of the world. This has been one of the most exciting and rewarding, yet challenging things I have ever done in my life. I have also had the opportunity to teach and mentor youth in business through the ice cream shop.
And in my family, I have seen relationships grow and be resorted through simply seeing God’s heart for each person. Being able to receive healing and give it to my family has been amazing. Over time I would say my family has become closer and closer to my heart even though we live farther away geographically.
I know this is a short update on what God has been doing, and there is story after story to tell of his goodness and grace. However, right now I am chasing another wave of wind as the Spirit continues to lead me.
I am going back to Egypt. The land where God gave me all the vision! Where He spoke to me in the desert and showed me the path to the promise land.
Right now, the purpose of this trip is to pray, encourage, and understand. First, praying for the Muslim world and to grasp God’s heart for revival among all Muslim people. For them to see and experience Jesus in the way that they God wants them to. To pray with them and for them in this land that is torn with war, government conflict, and control.
Second, is to encourage our fellow brothers and sisters who are believers in Egypt. To inspire them again to continue to endure! As Hebrews 10:24 says, “Let us think of ways to motivate one another to acts of love and good works.” Being able to see and encourage other believers is one of the aspects of the trip I am looking forward to the most.
Lastly, there is understanding. Personally, for me understanding means more vision. Vision for God’s heart and plan. Understanding more of what God is calling me to in the Muslim world. I believe that does involve business and investing in believers, however, I am open to whatever understanding He wants me to grasp over the course of this trip.
Right now, I need to raise $2,600 before January 5th. Would you prayerfully consider sending me again to continue the Kingdom Building process through Prayer, Encouragement, and Understanding?
