Dear Madi,
Before the World Race started I wrote a letter to you and shared it as a blog, called a husbands letter to his wife. In it I wrote “As we were standing next to each other in church and I had my arm around your shoulders I got shivers as you sang “King Jesus You’re the name we’re lifting high! Your glory shaking up the earth and skies” There is no doubt that you know who Jesus is. My greatest blessing in life is that you know Jesus. I have had the privilege of watching your life blossom, as your grow closer to the Lord. The nations will be glad to know you because you know King Jesus.” As this trip is coming to a close I found myself reflecting back to this letter. I remember writing this letter thinking about how excited I was for people around the world to meet you. Each country we have been in I have had the privilege to introduce you as my wife. People usually have responded with a big smile and an endearing affirmation of our marriage. It was incredible for so many cultures and people around the world to approve of our young marriage. There are of course different marriage customs around the world, whether it is an arranged marriage or a love marriage. We were still met with approval. It was incredible to meet people together, but I loved it even more to watch you interact with people all around the world.
This is a picture of you when you preached to 200 people in the streets of India!

This is one of my favorite pictures of you. The joy on Hannah banana’s face is how you make me feel. Your joy is contagious, and I have loved watching you share it with others.

This is when we did ministry in Cambodia, those kids got excited every time they saw you!
This is us GOING ON AN ADVENTURE!!
There are a thousand more memories for us to share the rest of our lives. The verse that stands out when I think of you is 2nd Timothy 2:7 “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.” The context of this passage is Paul’s instruction to Timothy, and he explains to him the that the time of his departure is near, he then goes on to say these words. As our time is coming to an end on the World Race I can confidently speak these words over you.
You have fought the good fight, you have finished the race, and you have kept the faith. I am so proud of you, now lets go start our next season!
I love you,
Andy
