Catching up on old countries and blogs, and headed towards India currently!
Ministry in Swazi was actually quite normal. We usually started our day at 8 am with manual labor, Tea Time at 10, lunch at 1 or 1:30, followed by dinner at about 4:30 or 5, then time with kids at 5:30-6:30 pm. After that, the guys usually came together as men for worship or feedback, and then I headed to bed because a few of us got up at at 5:30 am to start Insanity at 6 am. Then our day started again the following morning.
Our first job entailed us carrying hundreds of bricks to 2 different locations so that construction could begin on Charmain's house. We also spent time scraping paint off the walls of her house, and we removed a large window to seal up her three sons bedroom.
Along with that, we also removed three large heavy beams from their room which was quite exciting for a bunch of men to do, along with men grunting and other things that can't be mentioned under Man CodeSec.44,000 pgs.832-937, Ch. 67, lines 1-24,579.
A few other jobs include sealing Charmain's roof with sealant, hanging up a cloth sealing in her living room, corn shucking, grass burning, grass cutting by hand, measurement of FIFA sized soccer field, goat and large bulls chasing out of the crop field on a daily basis, playing with beautiful children, participation in church services, clinic work, and lastly we built a much better entrance gate for Charmain's property.
A few things we didn't get to do was put out the wildfires across the mountains (we put out our own!), cut down and burn all the marijuana crops next to our property (for safety reasons), and catch the ten by one foot boa constrictor in the waterfall!
