After an eight hour delay in what was leaving Mozambique, we finally found ourselves crammed into 11 seats along with 34 people and our day packs. By then, it was later in the day and we needed to make it to the Swazi border before
8 p.m. Arriving
at 7:30 p.m. and spurring us across the border, we made it through by
8:05. Whew, and praise God that we didn't have to wait at the border all night!!
Next step, drop the women off and head to our location. In route of doing this, our drivers didn't deem this necessary and decided to take us back to where our girls were staying. Pretty sketchy huh?? Ummm yeah!
So that night, we stayed there in our tents and the next day we headed to our ministry location into the land of the unknown. Surprising,y enough the vehicle wasn't big enough for 7'men and all of our gear, so the driver went went away to return 2 hours later with another truck. So once again, our journey began into the mountains of the "UKNOWN," SWAZILAND!
Needless to say, we arrived there at night fall in utter shock and surprise to find bunk beds and warm showers awaiting us. Of course this was much different from what we were earlier described to as tents and bucket showers.
So with that, we met with our host Charmain, settled in, and began probably the greatest month of my life!
