As I look back and evaluate the last couple months and look ahead to now and what's to come, it absolutely blows my mind!  From school and how God has put me on a certain path up until now.  It's crazy!  And now with Easter coming up, the death and resurrection of Christ has never been so real to me until now.!  I see things in a deeper and brighter light.  Of course I believe and have always known what happened to our Savior, but it has never been so evident until now.  To know the intimacy of our Creator and how much He loves us is unreal.  To give us a new hope and a second chance for redemption of our sins and  to be in perfect peace in unity with Him once again.  Who does that?  Then you have Jesus, the Son of God who came and died freely.  He gave up His life for us.  He took the weight of the world upon His shoulders and was beaten, had His flesh ripped apart, and hung on a cross because of our disgusting filth.  Then I, chief of sinners throw it back in His face when I choose to sin by choice and do it willingly.  Hmmm…but grace, oh HIs grace!  Jesus's death tore the vail which opened the door to unity with God once again.  No more sacrifices, no more pleading for our filth.  The Sacrificial Lamb came as the last sacrifice, and His blood was poured out to cover the weight of the world.  Jesus, King Jesus, Emmanuel, Prince of Peace, Lord of Lords, The Way, THE TRUTH, and The Light!  He came to fulfill all of the prophecies, to be the Savior of the world, and to give us the free gift of life, an eternal  inheritance FOREVER.

Luke 9:23 " Whoever  wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross daily and follow me."   What is holding us back to completely follow Jesus and completely walk in His OBEDIENCE?  What is holding us back to be completely on fire for God and to take our world by storm?!  All God wants from us is a deep relationship and I think we owe that to Him for the sacrifice He made to cover the weight of our sins, but most and importantly He desires glory.  Whether we choose to give it to Him or not, He will still receive it.  The Bible says even if we as Gods people are silent, then the rocks will cry out and sing God's praise.  He doesn't need us, but He Desires us passionately and intimately.  Just as a mother cares for her newborn baby, God longs for us a million times greater.  So as you go through the same steps of Easter this and Easter that and go through the traditions of hunting for easter eggs, remember what Easter is truly about.  It's about a Savior who shed His blood and died for you.  He died to give us all a second chance for new life so that we would walk with Him DAILY and freely from the bondage of sin.  "Do this in REMEMBERANCE of ME," Jesus said.  Not just sometimes, but always.  He did it for you!
