I'm sorry i'm late on posting these pictures and telling you about our ministry in Haiti, but I lost my camera at some point while there, and I figured it was better late than NEVER!!!

First off we worked at three different ministry sites during the week.  The first ministry site was just where we lived.  There are pictures of that in my blog of Home-Haiti.  This ministry was more of a rest day in my opinion and teams usually painted, raked leaves, or did other small things around the property.

The Second Ministry site was MOHI- Mission Of Hope Internantional.
(We also attended church there 2 times or 3 times a week, and we had an English led service at night which was spectacular.  We led worship, and some of my amazing brothers and sisters got to preach on what the Lord laid on their hearts.)
——You also can find MOHI on Facebook too if you'd like to know more about this organization.——

The Vision for MOHI

While at MOHI, we worked construction almost everyday switching out with our other ministry locations.  At MOHI, we were helping to construct a new school/church for the Haitian people that will help change the city we were in forever! Our main job was to dig and pick axe out the earth so that we could lay the reed bar for construction, and finally pour the concrete by hand.  One day we actually worked from about 8 a.m. to well past 10 p.m. in order to finish because the concrete mixer that we were using had to be returned.  So in a tremendous effort and as fast as we could go, we poured concrete like our lives depeneded on it and we saw God turn the unexpected and impossible into "Oh my goodness, our God is soooo GOOD and ALWAYS FAITHFUL!"

Below are a few pictures of our work while at MOHI.

This was from our night pour.  (BTW, dry cemente burns your skin if it stays on too long!  Oh, and for future reference… jumping into the ocean after a long hot day of work with your clothes on helps remove concrete from your clothing and cools you off very nicely!)

Our infamous line of how we do things while pouring concrete!

My many new brothers hard at work!

Our second ministry site was at an orphanage called Be Like Brit.  This orphanage started out after a father received a phone call from his daughter describing her vision to build an orphanage for the many orphans there in Haiti.  I believe an hour and a half later, Brit died in an earthquake that would forever change the lives around her.  To carry out her dreams, her father came to Haiti and has since fulfilled what once was a vision into a huge reality!  Be Like Brit is a 2 story orphanage in the shape of a B, and it will house at first about 60 orphans.  Below are some pictures from ministry.

In Britney’s memory, her family has established a non profit organization called Be Like Brit; whose mission is to serve the children of Haiti by establishing a safe, nurturing and sustainable orphanage in an environment where they can grow, learn & thrive. Your donation can help keep Brit’s spirit alive by bringing joy, opportunity and voice, to children in need.  We actually helped pour the top layer of the second floor and it's crazy how the Haitian workers are so diligent and hard working.  It was truly a blessing to be apart of all of these ministries.

Break in the Office

Photos of afternoon homelife.  I believe this was Haiti vs. USA.  Oh…and did I mention team USA won 12-9?  True story 😉

Well I hoped you enjoyed the blog post and as always, thank you so much for supporting me and being apart of this awesome journey the Lord has called me to!  I could never do without your constant support and prayers!  Love you all and blessings!!! 🙂
