How is it that I only have 11 days until I’m back in America? I guess time fly’s when you’re having fun and constantly moving through 14 (yes not 11, but 14!) countries only in the span of eleven months.

I have been in Morocco now for about 24 days and to be honest I couldn’t have PRAYED for a better last country before I return to the states. My team ended up having not only American hosts, but we are also living with an American couple who have graciously opened up their entire 3 story house to us during our time here. We have also been blessed with dinners and worship/prayer sessions with our hosts and some of the other Americans we met through the church. A few nights ago we had dinner with our hosts and they just wanted to hear about what the Lord has done this year… what an awesome ministry that is in itself. Not to mention upon our arrival here, we were introduced to another American (who has ended up becoming such a great friend to us) who helped make Taylor’s 24th birthday one of her favorites by spoiling us with candy, pizza, and Halloween movies. It’s been so encouraging working and living with all these Americans before we enter back in to the American culture. They have literally made us feel right at home and in fact, have helped us prepare for going home since they have all experienced it first hand. Being able to just sit down and listen to their advice and encouragements has shown me how the Lord comforts us and only has good gifts for his “good and faithful servants.”

Another way the Lord has blessed us and again, helped us for transitioning home, is through the ministries/activities we’ve been all doing.

So, there’s been a few different ways we’ve been involved including: -Setting up a Facebook workshop as well as a business card workshop for locals trying to start a business.

-Babysitting one of the American couples 4 kids (monopoly GALORE). Let me tell ya, these were the most well behaved kids I’ve ever met. The oldest even made us dinner!

-Baking and decorating with the Pastors wife of the church we attend (DECORATING?! Lord, You’re awesome).

-Cleaning and doing yard work for the church. Our first day I was raking and one of the men who work at the church walked over and started talking to me… by the end I was in tears because He touched my heart with his encouraging words from the Lord.

-Starting a Bible Study with some of the locals and teaching them how to study and dissect what the Bible is saying. I actually learned more from them probabley than they learned from me, they had SO much insight. Talk about community!

-Helping put together some curriculum for a local who dreams of having a school for kids to learn not only about different subjects, but Jesus! We were able to sit down with him as he poured his heart out for his kids and the vision the Lord had given him of having hundreds of students one day.

-Last, but certainly not least (actually it was probabley one of my favorite ministries) was to put on puppet shows for the Sunday school kids. Whaaat?!? Talk about a PERFECT job for a goof ball such as myself AND using that to teach the Bible… #dreamjob.

I LOVED how the Lord used not only MY gifts this month, but my whole teams which allowed for all of the different ways to connect with people.

This month is not over… be on the lookout for one last blog while I’m still overseas. I’ll be working on one reflecting this entire year (…big breath) and what the Lord has/still is/always will be teaching me.

Here are some photos of our experiences in Morocco!
