So, after some team building events and lots of debriefs and talking to the leaders about how we worked with different people and different groups and tons of prayer on the leadership’s part we have our January 2010 teams finalized. I am so excited about my team. I know that God has put us all together for a reason and He has done a stinking awesome job! I love these guys already and I’m excited to have them be my family next year. We’ve already had some great times together. Within one day we were very open with some of our more interesting traits and such. We have prayed together, followed God’s lead together, laughed together (a lot), worked on a video together (expect to see that soon and to see tons more as the year goes on because we love doing this!), and we have learned together. These are really some of the most amazing people I could have ever been placed on a team with and I’m so excited to call them my team.
We have named our team M:10 which stands for Matthew 10. In this chapter Jesus sends out the disciples and gives them instructions on what to do and how to do it. We loved the entire chapter and couldn’t narrow it down to just one verse so we picked the whole thing.
So without further wait, here are the other six amazing people on my team. I have linked you to their blogs so that you can see who they are too. So go check out who my teammates are and what brought them to this place. Keep us in your prayers and if you want to click the link to the left that says Adopt My Team! You can then sign up to be prayer warriors for us as we embark on this journey God has called us each on.
So finally, introducing M;10!
Rachael Hurt-Our team leader and resident musical genius!
