After 3 years 1 month, and 5 days I stepped onto Filipino soil once again.  It was crazy when we walked off the airplane the first smell that hit my nose I said to myself, “That is the Philippines”  I cannot describe the smell to you, you just have to know the smell, but as soon as I sniffed it I knew I was here.  Well, that and the insane heat and humidity.  By the time we got to KIM it was nearly midnight and due to the time change we were not tired.  We stayed up soaked our feet in the pool.  (yeah that was a new and pleasent change to the last time we were here.) and fell asleep later.

Our first morning we went to the Children’s home after breakfast and when I saw so many faces I knew my heart melted.  I love these kids.  Even though they didn’t remember me from long ago, I love them.  I played soccer and hide and go seek with them.  We laughed and talked.  It was awesome!  The good news is I will get to spend more time with them these two weeks.  I will begoing over there every afternoon to play with those amazing wonderful kids.
The team I am with from Camppbellsville is fantastic  I am so blessed to be back here with a Racer friend and 8 other amazing people.
Please pray that the Lord does awesome things while we are here.  Pray for energy and strength een on the hottest days.  Pray that even in this short time we can build relationships and make a difference.
