A few weeks ago my friend Sarah had a birthday. When one of us has a birthday we try to do things that the birthday person will enjoy. That’s pretty standard for a birthday celebration obviously. For Sarah’s birthday we tried to find an old Japanese lighthouse that was built around WW II. We set off in a vehicle in hopes of finding ourselves an old lighthouse. However based on the amount of information we could gather online we were not able to find it. So instead we went up Mount Tapochau and enjoyed a foggy view.
However, the next weekend Sarah and I were determined to find this lighthouse. So armed with better directions and a set of borrowed car keys we set off on a small adventure. We were much more successful this time with more accurate directions and we found a pretty cool lighthouse. The view was pretty spectacular and it was fun to explore the lighthouse. We climbed up to the top and took some epic pictures with the graffiti walls. Please enjoy our photos below.
