It’s been a little over a month since I’ve given y’all an update so before I start posting about the deeper things in life, I wanted to give you guys and gals and update!
Last month Team Mosaic partnered with Sarah’s Covenant Home in southern India working with kids and teenagers with special needs. We helped paint one of the orphanages during the days and in the afternoons we would play and chill with the kids/teens. I definitely questioned God’s sovereignty last month because of what I saw in India, but found a peace in who He is, too (and will post a more detailed blog at a later date 🙂 )
This month, Team Mosaic is partnered with Team Jacob working with High Adventures Ministries in Kathmandu, Nepal. Thus far we’ve been staying in the city with our ministry consisting of going out and talking to people about them, us, life, and most importantly: Jesus. God is teaching me so much through this and I’m LOVING every second of it!
On Friday for our ministry was praying hiking to the top of a mountain outside of Kathmandu Valley and worship at the top. Talk about a mountain-top experience!! Pictures will be uploaded soon!
Next week we will be moving to two villages for two weeks and am currently a little fuzzy on what we’ll actually be doing. But if it’s anything like what we’ve been doing: it’s going to be in… wait for it… credible! Incredible! (I’ve been watching How I Met Your Mother recently as well, can you tell? hahaha)
We have a two-day debrief at the end of the month and then it’s off to Africa!!! By the grace of God I AM FULLY FUNDED! I still have a few squad-mates short of the final $15,500 but my God provides!
