Month six is officially here! December = Cambodia. I thought y'all would enjoy a quick update while I have internet. 🙂

After way too many goodbyes to ministry contacts, Thai friends, and some great YWAM-ers, lots of junk food for meals, and 25 bus hours later for travel: we've arrived safely.

Team Mosaic will be working at a YWAM (Youth With A Mission) base in Kampong Speu, Cambodia teaching English and Bible studies. I would like to say I'm at least a little bit excited for our ministry this month, but truthfully I'm not. Not because I don't think it's awesome or anything, because Cambodia was one of my "top 3 WR countries". I honestly set an expectation for what kind of ministry I wanted to work in to the point of being disappointed with anything but that. BUT that's okay! Because God knows what He's doing! I am excited that God did tell me that this ministry and this month is going to be nothing short of amazing and full of "wrecking".

God specifically used the word "wrecked" when He and I conversed about this upcoming season/country, so I'm excited to see how that goes! One of my goals this month is to spend very intentional listening time with the Lord. I want to grow in intimacy with Him even more and feel as though this is the season He wants me in.

Something to mention about our ministry/ministry site as well: it's bush month. What does that mean? Glad you asked! Basically, we have no indoor plumbing (woo bucket showers and squattie potties), we're located pretty much in the middle of no where, and internet will be very limited (unlike the past couple months). Believe it or not: I am super stoked for this. I'm excited for the intimacy with the Lord and with my team that I'll get to experience.

Overall, I AM really excited and anxious for ministry to start in Cambodia. Maybe not necessarily for what we're assigned to do, but rather I know God has BIG plans for us this month and He never fails with His promises.

I would like to ask you to specifically pray for:

My team – pray against illness (currently no illnesses and we'd like to keep it that way), vulnerability and continued pursuing of each other as sisters, and perseverance through whatever happens this month.

Myself – focus on God and not what I "lack" this month, continuous contenment on where God has me, and finances. I am still short from the $11,000 deadline (but only by like $710!) and have this month to raise an additional $4,500 for the total of $15,500 (fully funded here I come!) this IS a big number, but I have a BIGGER God! 🙂

Okay, that's all for now. I love you all and pray you have a wonderful day/evening/afternoon/night (depending on when you read this).
