I have been in GA now for about 2 months, hanging out at my sister and brother-in-law’s house. It’s been a great time for rest and reflection. I’ve also been able to see different friends from the Race who live in this region. Last weekend I went and helped out at the World Race training camp where 200 racers are preparing to launch in January! Praise God for all of the growth of the Race.
Speaking of January (nice segue, huh?), I will be heading out again for 4 months! This time I will be leading a Real Life trip (for college-age students) which is also through Adventures in Missions. While my first choice is the SE Asia trip, going to Cambodia and Thailand, I am not guaranteed to get it. I have chosen to lay my expectations down — thank you training camp — and be willing to go wherever the Lord wants me. If this ends up being India, Kenya, Uganda, or Nicaragua, so be it. God’s got it all under control.
I will need both prayer and financial support for this next adventure. If you would like to support me financially, you can click on the “Support Me” tab on the left side of the page. Or if you would like to write a check, just let me know and I will mail you a letter. If you’re not subscribed to my blog, you can also subscirbe to my blog updates on the left as well. Thank you for your continued support!
Me and my pregnant sister!
