I apologize if this blog doesn’t seem to have a theme or structure. There’s so many different thoughts jumbled around in my head, I just want to share some of them with you.

First of all, I surprisingly love Cambodia! I can’t really pinpoint why either. It’s just a cool place. There are a ton of NGO’s here, so it’s great to see and hear about places that exist to benefit others. One that I came across yesterday is called Daughters of Cambodia. They employ and provide training for victims of sex trafficking. I hope to go visit them again.

In 23 days I will be back in LA. Seriously??? Some have asked if it’s gone by fast. Yes and no, it depends on the country we were in at the time. Am I ready to be back in the states? Um…I think so? I’m ready for real showers and meals that aren’t based on white rice. I will miss the adventure of riding on crazy modes of transportation or trying weird food like a duck fetus…yes I did, don’t hate.

Have I changed very much? I feel like I’ve aged 10 years and lost brain cells along the way! Have I learned everything that God wanted to teach me these past 11 months? Did I miss out on things He wanted to show me, when I was having selfish moments?

I have a new appreciation for missionaries serving overseas, for many reasons.

God’s love and grace is SO huge! I pray that back home I can love people better and shower them with His grace, especially those that are hard to love. I don’t want to be the same person I was a year ago.

What a privilege it has been to see the things I’ve seen and to meet the incredible people I’ve met around the world. I will never forget them.

Here are a couple pics of Cambodia. We have entered the rainy season!
