When in Nicaragua
-you may get to go to a chocolate spa and get a pitiful mani, pedi, and facial. And get to swim at a pool at the spa.
-you may get to attend a Pastor’s conference and serve coffee and lunch to them.
-you may ride in the back of a pick-up truck while it is raining and you may have to use a huge piece of plastic to cover yourself.
-you may get to watch the NBA finals on your host family’s TV!
-you may get to tour a cigar factory
-you may get to perform a number of dances/dramas for the church.
-you may teach father Abraham to a bunch of university students.
-you may have family movie night at the movie theatre and see the 9:30pm showing of Jurassic World.
-you may visit Cañon de Somoto and have the opportunity to cliff jump, rock climb and float down the longest river in Central America.
-you may make cookies and hand them out to the community with a little note included to come to church.
-you may ride 3 hours one way in the back of a truck to Managua.
-you may go on a field trip with “mom and dad” to Managua and visit the lake and miniature replica of the city before the 1972 earthquake.
-you may get to stargaze while sitting in the bed of a trick cruising along at 60mph
-you may get to cook an American meal for your host family
-you may get to celebrate Father’s Day with your Nicaraguan father.
-you may get to go to an alumni racers house and hang out with her and her husband and their partners in the ministry they are connected with.
-you may get to help paint the church you are staying at.
-your host might throw you a surprise going away party.
