Hey Friends!
So I am sure some of you may be wanting to know a little bit more about me. So here you go:
I am currently a senior at Malone University, a small Christian university located in Canton, Oh. I have had a wonderful journey here at Malone and I am excited to see what else God has in store for the rest of my senior year. I have made life-long friends and have met so many encouraging and supportive people in the past 3 and a half years. God has showed me that he is in constant control and I have no reason to worry about anything.
As for where I come from:
I was born and raised in Walnut Creek, OH. It is a very small community located in Holmes County, OH (otherwise known as Amish country). And before any of you ask…I am NOT Amish. (I know you were all wondering.)

I was raised in a Christian home by my two wonderful parents, Brent and Elaine. They have been great examples of what a Godly marriage should look like and they have been supportive of me and the decisions I have made in my life. I couldn’t ask for better parents.
I also have two older brothers, Derek and Corey. Some may think growing up with two older brothers would be rough but they were pretty great. Even though I may have annoyed them quite a bit when I was younger they were usually willing to let me join them when they played video games or played with Legos or they even let me join in on the neighborhood games of baseball, squirt gun fights, etc.
Both Derek and Corey are married. Derek and his wife Janna live in Trail, OH (another small town in Holmes County). Derek is a purchasing manager at a local wholesale foods distribution company and Janna is a Home Economics teacher at a local high school.
Corey is married to Krysti and they are currently living in Atlanta, GA. Corey is in Porsche tech school learning all about Porsche cars so he can become a mechanic for a Porsche dealership. Krysti is a CNA at a local hospital in Atlanta.
Both Janna and Krysti have become the two sisters I have always wanted. They are great examples of a Godly woman and I admire both of them. I couldn’t ask for better “sisters.”

Now for some fun facts about me!
1. I played piano for 7 years
2. I LOVE playing volleyball! I played from 5th grade all the way through high school.
3. I enjoy being outdoors.
4. As cliche as this may sound, I absolutely love sunrises and sunsets. No one except God could create such an amazing sight.
5. I was a tomboy when I was younger.
6. I enjoy working with numbers and math was my favorite subject.
7. I will always support Cleveland sports no matter how many times they let me down.
8. I absolutely love Despicable Me 1 & 2, especially the minions! 🙂
9. I love road trips!
10. I have been to the Grand Canyon, Hoover Dam, Painted Desert, St. Louis Arch, and Niagara Falls.
11. My favorite color is turquoise.
12. I would love to live by the beach some day.
13. I enjoy playing any kind of sports.
14. I am a very practical person…make me think abstractly and you will get a blank stare.
15. I am usually the listener, not the talker.
16. Dogs are better than cats. (in my opinion)
17. I have a toy poodle named Lexie.
18. I have a bucket list.
19. My goal is to visit all 50 states before I die.
20. I have never been out of the United States…so this is going to be a BIG adventure for me!
21. I have been on two mission trips. One to Columbus, OH (City Challenge) and one to Phoenix, AZ. (I will elaborate more in another blog post)
22. I know I am loved by the Creator of the world and nothing I do will make Him stop loving me.
