4 years ago today I was moving into Malone and beginning my college career.  Today I am 15 days away from leaving the country for 11 months.  It blows me away how quickly those four years went.  I never would have thought that this is what God had planned for me after college graduation.  From the beginning of freshman year I thought I would find my future husband and then we would get married after college and I would begin my life living the American dream.  Well, freshman year came and went, as did sophomore year and then junior year.  With no luck of finding my future husband through those years, I began to realize that God’s plans were not the same as mine.  And oddly enough I was perfectly okay with that.

So now here I am.

Leaving the country in 15 days.

No prospect in the picture.

and

No idea what I am going to do with my life after I get back.

But I am quite content with that plan.  I have discovered that there is no point in worrying about what the future looks like or even trying to plan my future because knowing God, his plan is going to be COMPLETELY different.

So right now I am going live in the moment and continue to enjoy the time I have at home and seeing friends and family and soaking it all in.

On another note, a couple of my squad mates are still in need of some money in order to meet the August 22nd $7500 deadline!  Please consider supporting them!  I have added links to their blogs below and the amount that they need yet.  Just click the “Support Me” link on THEIR blog page.  Even if you can just give a few dollars, every bit will help.
