So I wrote down a long something or other in my journal planning on transposing it onto here, but I think you’d rather see what it was like.  Sometimes words aren’t enough.

The Swazi orphans and kids of the community center we worked with, whose pastor is Pastor Gift

Grub time

Kids from all the care points and the community coming to get their feet washed by us, prayed over and new pairs of shoes!

Washing…Shanda was a scrubing rockstar

Lov’n on the kiddos

Gogo (grannies) that take care of the orphans

More than tattered clothes and distended bellies, they are human.  They hush their voices because they think no one will hear, but their eyes are loud with hunger for what fills the body and soul.

We’ve seen glimpses of answers to both hungers with the community center and how it supports, nourishes, and offers hope.
