Hello! I have made it to El Salvador with my beautiful team Rafa Warriors! We have only been here for a couple days but so much has happened! We are staying with our contacts in San Salvador!
These people are so warm and outgoing with beautiful personality. They love god and put him first in their lives in so many ways. They have a deep respect for family that already makes me want to grow closer with mine. The streets are filled with bright colors ,warm breezes, and exciting music that makes you want to stay forever. Today we went out to the streets where homeless and jobless people stand around daily hoping for something to change in their life. We lifted a lot up in prayer that had addictions, illnesses, even a 92 year old man man with a broken arm we took to the hospital. It feels good to be back in ministry, and just being with people that fill my heart and make me grow in so many ways with god. I remember a year ago on my first mission It seemed pointless and uncomfortable, Now its who I am and if I'm not praying for someone or growing in god I feel like a dead raisin wasting my life away gaining absolutely nothing. Tomorrow we will be working with an orphanage with kids that have many different illnesses such as paralysis and cancer! Just wanted to update you all I will have more blogs this week!
