Hello everyone! I am currently in Gua Musang Malaysia! This culture is very diverse! Basically a mix of Chinese, Malay, and Indian. We are working with a program called KJ generation. Our hosts are amazing and their testimonies and journey with the lord and how they started this program blew me away! We are teaching classes to kids that come from ismlamic, Hindu, and atheist families.
This month is definitely different and a bit of a challenge. We have a very large DO NOT LIST. We absolutely cannot teach the children about god, we cant speak, mention, or sing his name. This ministry is in a way undercover and its so exciting being a part of it. We teach the children about god by our love, by our example. Its been exciting to see the kids reactions and curiosity from the love we have pore’d out on them and the relationships we build and have built. These are children that will come to know christ over time, and these children will bring it to their homes and parents who don't claim to have a god, or even worship false gods. GOD IS MOVING!!!!!!
We teach the children about character and loving your neighbor through all the classes which is all the way from math,english,science,to music classes. I see the example and the power of gods love in children's lives without preaching a word of the gospel. This journey is transforming my heart, renewing my mind, and filling me with passion for the most important things in this life! TO LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE! Going farther than a friendly word. Or a quick hug. To invest in peoples lives. To build a relationship of what can I do for you, how can I serve you.
