This month has been one of the most challenging of the race.  I’ve been praying consistently for challenge, so I welcomed it, although I may have done so with tears from time to time haha  Since there’s been so much going on, I haven’t had the time to write too much about what we’ve actually been doing here.  This has been a rollercoaster of a month, but I wouldn’t have it any other way.  I’ve been able to learn and grow in a lot of ways that I’m sure will come in handy later on πŸ™‚  God’s been faithful and I feel He’s calling me to new, deeper levels of intimacy that I look forward to seeking out individually and with my team.  I have absolutely LOVED living with our contact, Alberto, and his family this month and will be oh so sad to say goodbye πŸ™

My beautiful teammate, Ashley Van, however has been on top of the game!  If you’d like to hear about our month in El Salvador and see some pics, please be free to visit her blog at http://ashleyvanhouttum.theworldrace.org/.  Enjoy!! πŸ™‚

PS We leave for Panajachell, Guatemala on Wednesday.  Prayers for safe travels and giving it all we’ve got in our last month would be greatly appreciated.  In the meantime, I’ll try to get a blog out πŸ™‚ Love you all…see you soon!!
